Design And Technology of The Palm Fountain
Nakheel Malls, a division of Nakheel Properties, a government-owned real estate development company in Dubai is the owner of The Palm Fountain. It was designed and constructed by Beijing Water Design Technology Corporation, a Chinese musical fountain services company. The fountain features two massive floating platforms covering a seawater area of 1,300 square meters (14,000 square feet) and is equipped with around 7,500 nozzles, including about 128 that can shoot seawater up to a height of 105 meters. Approximately 3,000 multicolored LED lights are added to create a mesmerizing array of vibrant colors in the fountain.

Dazzling LED Lighting System
The fountain, located in front of The Pointe shopping center, is divided into two combinations of fountains, left and right. The Palm Fountain is designed with energy-saving technology, utilizing seawater directly without the need for storage tanks or filtration equipment. Water is drawn directly from the sea and then sprayed into the air using powerful jets.

As a musical fountain attraction, The Palm Fountain is equipped with a high-quality audio system to deliver clear and beautiful music. The audio system consists of 86 specially placed speakers strategically located around the fountain to ensure every note and beat is heard clearly and sharply. The precise placement of the speakers throughout the fountain area helps produce evenly distributed sound in every corner. Whether visitors are close to the fountain or enjoying it from a distance, they can experience the same high-quality audio. The audio system can deliver beautiful tunes, making it seem as though each note synchronizes perfectly with the dancing and spinning water jets.
Mesmerizing Water and Music Choreography
The fountain system sprays seawater into the air with varying patterns. The movement of the fountain jets is synchronized with the rhythm of the music being played. The fountain appears to dance gracefully to the tunes, ranging from classical, pop, to Arabic music. Different songs create unique water dances. A special song titled "Aim For The Sky" was composed specifically for The Palm Fountain and began playing on December 1, 2020.
Colorful Water Dance at Night
The beauty of The Palm Fountain can be best enjoyed at sunset when more than 3,000 multicolored LED lights illuminate, lighting up the dancing water jets in sync with the music. These lights provide a variety of stunning color effects on the fountain, such as yellow, purple, blue, green, and red. This creates a vibrant, colorful water dance reaching tens of meters high, truly captivating the audience.

An Unforgettable Experience Watching The Palm Fountain
Visitors to The Palm Fountain can witness an amazing show accompanied by an electric mix of music, from classical to contemporary tunes. The fountain comes alive with bright colors and intricate water movements, perfectly synchronized with the rhythm of the music. This spectacular show takes place every night for 30 minutes, starting at sunset, and is free for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can choose to watch the fountain from one of the nearby restaurants, from the beachside promenade, or by taking a traditional abra boat for a closer look.
The Palm Fountain Show Schedule
The spectacular Palm Fountain show takes place every night from 7:00 PM until just before midnight, around 11:00 PM. On weekends, Saturday and Sunday, the show continues until 11:30 PM local time. The dancing fountain shows are held every 30 minutes, with each performance lasting 3 minutes. The Palm Fountain shows are free of charge; anyone who witnesses this captivating attraction will not be required to pay any fee.
